A Time To Build

Conversation with Yuval Levin

Americans have lost faith in their core institutions. Why has that happened and can it be overcome?

In “A Time to Build: From Family and Community to Congress and the Campus, How Recommitting to Our Institutions Can Revive the American Dream” (Basic Books 2020), Yuval Levin explores our current mistrust of American institutions. He also argues and how a purposeful reengagement with our institutions can help us to overcome many of our contemporary social crises. Levin will visit with Wheatley Director Dr. Paul Edwards about “A Time to Build” and its relevance to a post-COVID society.

Dr. Yuval Levin is the director of Social, Cultural, and Constitutional Studies at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) and the founding and current editor-in-chief of “National Affairs.”
