Wheatley Institute Fellow Samuel Wilkinson participated in a panel discussion with the American Enterprise Institute about the importance of family relationships, especially for men, despite shifting cultural norms.
"There's this prevailing notion and culture that the individual is the ultimate level of existence...[Collective mental health] has overall been getting worse as society becomes more atomized... This sense of community that the internet has upended has mirrored a rise in depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges."
