"Teens and Tech" Report Featured in Newsweek Opinion Article

Michael Toscano shares his thoughts on protecting youth from big tech in recent Newsweek article

Michael Toscano, director of the Institute for Families, cited the "Teens and Tech" Report published by the Wheatley Institute earlier this year in his opinion essay drafted for Newsweek. Toscano includes research regarding the dependency many teenagers have on video games, social media, and other forms of technology to contribute to his belief that parents and policy need to be actively trying to help youth overcome the struggles that comes with excessive screen time. Toscano outlines the problem as well as offers his solution.
