Sydney Jezik is studying political science, Middle Eastern culture and Arabic, and communications, all with the intention of becoming a journalist. She is grateful to God for His love and goodness and plans to serve Him with her career. To that end, she has filled her years recently with an 18-month humanitarian and religious teaching mission in Gilbert, Arizona; interning with the Church of Jesus Christ’s International Affairs Office in Washington, D.C.; researching and writing about religion in political rallies for The Atlantic; and hosting an intercultural podcast with Yemeni students, among other things. She hopes to build a united, peaceful globe. She is from Waunakee, Wisconsin and loves to hike, paint, and kiss her two cats.
