Scott Moore is a senior at Brigham Young University studying Political Science and Professional Writing. Originally from Kentucky, he and his family lived just outside Washington, D.C. before moving to Highland, Utah. He served a mission in the Philippines and has since returned as an HXP and Originations Trip Leader.
Scott has long been fascinated by American history and government. Growing up, he visited Mount Vernon almost daily, and the experiences and ideas of the Founders became his greatest intellectual interest. As a college student he has also enjoyed classes in international relations, political theory and constitutional studies. He plans to attend law school and pursue a career in government, ideally in a consulting role.
Outside of school, Scott enjoys sports, working with his hands, and spending time outdoors.
