Sarah Sowards Taylor is an Anthropology major at BYU. She wants to develop a lifelong skill of sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives of anyone she meets. In particular, she has studied the culture and language of the Hmong population in the United States and wants to become a Physician Assistant serving them. She grew up with nine other siblings, four of whom are foster siblings adopted by her family, a circumstance that has opened her to greater understanding and her own hope to be a foster parent as well. She enjoys board games, BYU sports, and calligraphy. She is an advocate for the energy and happiness of the color yellow. She is from Cedar City, Utah.
