Noriadnys Gomez studies Sociology and social impact at BYU. Sociology has helped her better understand herself as a bi-cultural individual. Originally from Venezuela, her parents came to the United States when she was four years old and raised their family in Utah. She came to BYU-Provo via the BYU Pathway Worldwide program and attended Ensign College after returning from a mission in Ventura, California. She plans to attend a joint JD/MPA program so that she can better help immigrant and underrepresented communities. She and her husband aspire to contribute to policy reform and a more welcoming future. She enjoys not only activism and advocacy, but also reading books, the outdoors, and spending time with family. She grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah.
