Ella Paligo

Ella Paligo is studying Political Science with a Legal Studies emphasis and minors in Business, Civic Engagement Leadership, and Global Women’s Studies. An Honors Program student and Religious Education TA, she is passionate about criminal justice reform and interfaith relations. She co-founded Operation Second Chance, a reentry initiative for incarcerated individuals, and leads in the Interfaith Student Association. On campus, she serves as BYUSA Student Body Executive VP, writes for multiple journals, and plans events for Women in Politics. After graduation, she plans to work in management consulting before earning a J.D. and MBA to become a public defender. Originally from Tennessee, she loves time with her large family.
