David A. Hill is majoring in Electrical Engineering, with minors in both Computer Science and Mathematics at BYU. He is a group leader in the computational photonics research lab, where he has contributed to multiple academic publications. He enjoys that the lab requires dedication, ingenuity, and an understanding of exciting concepts. He plans to attend continue his studies in computation photonics in graduate school. He served a Spanish-speaking mission for the Church to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was a competitive swimmer from the age of eight through high school. He enjoys canyoneering and taking videos with his drone. He was born in Manama, Bahrain, and grew up in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
