Collin Jacobsen studies Neuroscience at BYU. He is intrigued by the unknown complexity of the brain and appreciates how his major has broadened his scope of medicine beyond the necessary physical alignments to include those of the mind. He wants to attend medical school, specializing in aspects of either otolaryngology or neurology. Later, he hopes to serve a medical mission or work with Doctors Without Borders with his wife, who is an RN, so they can use their medical knowledge and love of medicine to help those that need it most. He served a mission in Helsinki, Finland, where he learned to see the beauty of Nordic winters. He enjoys travel, sports, and cooking homemade pasta. He is from Temecula, California.
