Utah Governor Spencer Cox gave a sneak peak about a new initiative that he is in the process of creating at the Braver Angels National Convention. The initiative, which is to yet be announced, focuses on creating a healthy conflict model for Americans to use when disagreements arise. Deseret News wrote about his presentation on the democratic need for the improving how Americans disagree.
The Braver Angels National Convention is a three-day conference that has numerous speakers discuss various strategies, techniques, and approaches to improving America's political disagreements. Paul Edwards, director of the Wheatley Institute, had a joint presentation with Troy Williams, executive director of Equality Utah, that discussed their experiences in working together on the "Utah Compromise" that focused on marriage and religious liberty.
