Annual Law Student Seminar 2025: Divinely Inspired Constitutional Principles

Wheatley Institute hosted our 2025 Divinely Inspired Constitutional Principles Law Student Seminar, with law students from universities around the country. Students heard from authorities and officers of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as well as Wheatley Fellows and BYU professors who taught about the principles emphasized in President Dallin H. Oaks's April 2021 General Conference talk on the Constitution.

Students attended five days of workshops and lectures on topics ranging from Civic Charity to Federalism, studying the nuances of Constitutionalism and methods for defending these principles in the world today.

Speakers included Retired Court of Appeals Judges Thomas B. Griffith and Judge Kent A. Jordan, Ambassador Jeff Flake, and Church of Jesus Christ leaders Elder Quentin L. Cook, President Camille N. Johnson, Elder Clark G. Gilbert, and Elder Alexander Dushku.
