The Wheatley Institution will celebrate its 10th anniversary this fall with a special double-lecture event. Sir Paul Coleridge, former judge for the British High Court of Justice, will present “Marriage Unapologetic — A Marriage Foundation in the UK, what for?” at the 10 Year Anniversary Celebration on October 19, 2017 at 7:30 PM in the Hinckley Center Assembly Hall at BYU.
Sir Paul Coleridge is the founder and chairman of the Marriage Foundation, UK which he established in 2012. The purpose of the foundation is “to confront the scourge of family breakdown by championing long-lasting, stable relationships within marriage.” Previous to this, he served in the British judicial system from 1970 to 2014. In 2000 he was knighted and appointed to serve as a judge on the British High Court of Justice. He specialized in family law and mediations. He was educated at the Cranleigh School and later attended the School of Law at London University. He was admitted to the bar in 1970. He married Judith Elizabeth Rossiter and they have three children.
